The X6 system is a fully automated box-making and packing machine, designed to produce ready-to-pack boxes and trays. Delivering up to to 1,500 boxes and trays per hour, it’s “the fastest system on the market,” the company says.
Additional advantages of the X6 include advances in box entitlement (both small and large), mall footprint (56’ 3" x 7’ 5” fully loaded), competitive price point, and high level of adaptability within the warehouse, according to Packsize chief revenue officer Brian Reinhart.
The X6 constructs and labels ready-to-pack boxes for automated output onto a conveyor, cart, or pack station, and is also available with both box-closing or lidding modules to allow for automation of the entire packaging process. It can produce both boxes with flaps and right-sized trays, allowing integration with warehouse automation systems including autonomous mobile robots and automated guided vehicles. It’s designed to accommodate automated storage and retrieval, goods-to-person, and other order-fulfillment technologies to streamline and enhance packaging production.
The X6 offers a number of sustainable shipping solutions, producing on-demand boxes small enough to replace plastic polymailers, an alternative that supports compliance with new packing waste sustainability regulations.
The innovative system enhances the ability of businesses to meet customer requirements and reduce costs, while improving packaging speed to address variable shipping requirements, the company says.
